More than a century old, this walnut armoire has full-length doors that show the grain across broad panels. Carving follows the scalloped lower apron and bonnet-style upper moulding. Large brass hinges, decorative lock plates and locks with a key complete the doors. The bonnet and both doors can be removed for transport.
Design Tip: Give the carved outline room to stand out against a quiet wall, with simpler furniture nearby.
