End Table With Antique Lap Desk

Antique Lap Desk Side Table.

This occasional table was crafted from an original lap desk which folds and unfolds to reveal a compact writing station with a slanted desk surface, storage compartments, and a locking lid, brass accents. The base was a later modification that allowed the piece to stand at a side table height. A very charming and unusual piece.
